Mirosława CHUDA, To Hear the Universe

The essay explores the concept of the harmony of the world and its rendition in music, as discussed in philosophical and theological works, as well as in astronomy books, in particular in selected medieval writings. The author also poses the question of the significance of the notion of harmony to the human beings shaped by modern culture.
